The Institut français and Cité internationale des arts are launching their 2027 residency program!
Location: Paris, France (Marais)
Duration: 3, 6, or 9 months (April 2027 – April 2028)
Disciplines: Open to all artistic & cultural fields (Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Cinema, Literature, Design, Curating, and more).
Key Eligibility: • Open to artists and cultural professionals living outside France for at least 5 years.
• Applications must be submitted by a partner organization (French cultural network or a local artistic/cultural institution) that provides financial & professional support. Direct individual applications are not accepted.
Deadline to apply: October 8, 2026
Results announcement: January 2027
