Salman Nawati

(b. Gaza, 1987) gained his BA degree in Fine Art-Painting from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza. Since 2009, he participated in several exhibitions and auctions. Salman has had three solo exhibitions (Port Hour-2009), (Portiat-2011) and (Reallity-2013). And work on different projects by using various technologies and materials such as (Zero Hour-2010), (Blue Assumption-2013), (Revolution-2015) and (Conflict 2018-2020). And Since 2010 he woks as coordinator of visual art in Qattan Child Center-Gaza.

After having spent a month in his occupations, delighted to have the time to complete projects started and to launch new ones, the painter Salman Nawati found in a way to escape by holding a drawing of a sketch in which he draws every day. His project embodies an imposed quarantine during which the individual can meditate on himself and his reality and give him the opportunity to imagine his future and the restoration of his relationship with nature.

Week 1

The Ink drawings embodies the state of a quarantine imposed by the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and how It  impact people , as a room stuck in o’clock to stop the wheel of the accelerating life of a human, and gives him the possibility to meditation on himself and his reality, and reveal to him the secrets of his subconscious, affiliations, and thoughts, which constitute his world and daily practices, and give him the opportunity to imagine his future as a part of the future of humanity, and the restoration of his relationship with nature, taking into account the individual cases of each person.

Né à Gaza en 1987, il a obtenu son baccalauréat en beaux-arts-peinture à l’Université Al-Aqsa de Gaza. Depuis 2009, il a participé à plusieurs expositions et ventes aux enchères. Salman a eu trois expositions personnelles (Port Hour-2009), (Portiat-2011) et (Reallity-2013). Il a travaillé sur différents projets en utilisant divers matériaux et techniques tels que (Zero Hour-2010), (Blue Assumption-2013), (Revolution-2015) et (Conflict 2018-2020). Depuis 2010, il travaille comme coordinateur des arts visuels au Qattan Child Center, à Gaza.

Après avoir passé un mois dans ses occupations, ravi d’avoir le temps de terminer des projets et d’en lancer de nouveaux, le peintre Salman Nawati a trouvé un moyen de s’échapper en tenant un journal de dessin et croquis dans lequel il dessine tous les jours. Son projet incarne une quarantaine imposée au cours de laquelle l’individu peut méditer sur lui-même et sa réalité, et se donner l’occasion d’imaginer son avenir, et la restauration de sa relation avec la nature.

Semaine 1

Le dessin à l’encre incarnent l’état d’une quarantaine imposée par l’émergence du Coronavirus et son impact sur les gens, comme une pièce où le temps s’est figé pour arrêter l’accélération de la vie d’un humain, et lui donne la possibilité de méditer sur lui-même et sa réalité et lui révèle les secrets de son subconscient, de ses affiliations et pensées, qui constituent son monde et sa pratique quotidienne et lui donne l’opportunité d’imaginer son futur comme une partie du futur de l’humanité et la restauration de sa relation avec la nature, en tenant en compte les cas individuels de chaque personne.
